Danette Nguyen

Hello!! I am Danette Nguyen, the President of STITCH for 2021-2022. I am a fourth-year Marshall student majoring in Human Biology with a minor in Psychology. Although most STITCH activities were virtual last year, I still really enjoyed meeting everyone on Zoom and sharing my love for crocheting. Even if events do not take place in-person this year, I hope that students can join us virtually to de-stress and learn how to make cute animals, coasters, home decor, and more!!
Melissa Serrano

Hey y’all. My name is Melissa Serrano, and I am the Vice President of STITCH. I’m a 2nd year Political Science major at Muir College 💚. I am new to crocheting and knitting but love working with everyone in the club and learning new things with everyone. We can struggle together if you are a newbie to crocheting like me ☺️. I am a huge fan of movies and books and plan on making crochet creations based on my favorite books or movies this year ✨. My long-term goal is to eventually make that famous rainbow JW Anderson knitted sweater that Harry Styles wore (let’s see how long that will take to achieve). 🌟

My name is Anuja Gandhi! I’m the secretary for STITCH this year. I’m a second year majoring in International Business. I don’t have a lot of experience with crocheting or knitting, but I’m super excited to learn through STITCH. :)

Hi everyone! My name is Natalie and I’m a second year majoring in Clinical Psychology and Cognitive Behavioral Neuroscience! I learned how to crochet from STITCH, and I think it’s a great way to make friends and take a break from the stresses of school! I hope we can have lots of new members this year and hopefully make some friends! Can’t wait to meet everyone! :D

Hey! I’m Shravya Sanigepalli and I’m a second year Ecology behavior evolution major in Muir. I love to crochet hats, beanies and little cute animals. It is super therapeutic for me and I am really excited to crochet with everyone this year!!
Rachel Rosal

Hi y'all!! I'm Rachel Rosal, a second year Biochemistry major at Sixth College, and this year's Event Coordinator of STITCH. I practically learned everything about crochet when I joined STITCH last year, and now I have gotten to the point where I can crochet things without patterns! :) I hope I can help others out and bring more people into our little organization. My other hobbies include binge-watching anime and excessively going on TikTok, which is nice because I can crochet while watching. Whenever I'm not busy, I usually go look for new things to crochet and don't stop until I finish them. I hope we become friends, and maybe I can get y'all to crochet some bucket hats with me!! 💜💜
