Anh Nguyen

Hi! My name is Anh, and I am this year’s STITCH president. I am a fourth-year Warren student majoring in Biological Anthropology with a Biology minor. I have been crocheting since middle school and always love making little amigurumi animals! Of course, I also make beanies and scarfs but the little animals though! 🥺I also recently picked up knitting, so if anyone wants to learn how to knit, we can struggle together 🥺👉👈 Anywhomst, I hope everyone will enjoy your time with STITCH and do not hesitate to reach out to us with any questions!
Melissa Serrano

Hey y’all. My name is Melissa Serrano, and I am the Vice President of STITCH. I’m a 2nd year Political Science major at Muir College 💚. I am new to crocheting and knitting but love working with everyone in the club and learning new things with everyone. We can struggle together if you are a newbie to crocheting like me ☺️. I am a huge fan of movies and books and plan on making crochet creations based on my favorite books or movies this year ✨. My long-term goal is to eventually make that famous rainbow JW Anderson knitted sweater that Harry Styles wore (let’s see how long that will take to achieve). 🌟
Elinor Zhang

Hello! I am Elinor Zhang, the secretary of STITCH. I am a sophomore, majoring in math-statistics and management science. I joined STITCH spring quarter of my Freshmen year and I am pretty new to crocheting, only know how to make some easy patterns. I love to crochet with everyone in the clubs and learn new patterns with them. If you also love crochet don’t wait. Come and join us!! I am excited to meet and know everyone!! :)
Danette Nguyen

Hello! I am Danette Nguyen, the Social Media Manager for STITCH for 2020-2021. I am a third-year Marshall student majoring in Human Biology with a minor in Psychology. I started crocheting about two years ago, and I continue to enjoy crocheting to this day. I love making a wide variety of things, ranging from cute little amigurumis (small crocheted stuffed animals) to large cardigans. During the rare times when I am not busy, I could spend hours on end crocheting! I hope to share my love for crocheting with others and show them how it is possible to give back to the community through our hobbies!
Shravya Sanigepalli

Hello!! My name is Shravya Sanigepalli and I’m this year’s treasurer of STITCH. I’m an incoming Ecology, Behavior Evolution major in Muir, and I’m so excited to be part of the UCSD community!! I've been crocheting for a really long time but took weird year long breaks in between. The last 6 months gave me the chance to crochet a ton of small animals, food, and other little cute things hehe. In my free time, I loveee rewatching Avatar the Last Airbender wayyy more times than necessary and playing board games. I’m so excited to meet everyone!!!

Hey y’all! My name is Wyndi, and I’m one of the social chairs for STITCH. I’m a second-year Muir student and I’m majoring in Sociology. I’m pretty new to all things knitting and crocheting, but I’m excited to learn alongside everyone else in the org :) Some of my hobbies include reading, dancing, and binge watching literally anything lol. I LOVE Harry Potter so my goal is to knit something Harry Potter related by the end of the school year!
