Here are some frequently asked questions about our organization! If your questions are not answered here, feel free to email us with your questions, comments, and concerns through our CONTACT US page.

  • How can I become a member of STITCH?

To become a member of STITCH, you must be a current UCSD student. For more details on how to join, see the JOIN US page.​

  • Who can become a member of STITCH?

Only UCSD students can become STITCH members and receive member benefits, which include free materials and free crochet lessons/tutorials. See the JOIN US page for more details.

Even if you are not a UCSD student, you can still follow us on our social media! There, we post new products and more!

Crochet Hook
  • Are all the products handmade?

Yes! All STITCH products are handmade by students attending UCSD. Members attend weekly events to follow tutorials led by STITCH executive members. Members can also make their own creations outside of the weekly events. Projects made by STITCH members are collected, posted on the website, and sold to buyers online on the MOM website mom.ucsd.edu.​

  • Is it safe to buy STITCH products?​

Yes! STITCH members are taking extra precautions to ensure buyers' safety. We are making sure to leave the projects outside before putting them out for sale. For extra measures, buyers are encouraged to leave their order packages outside for a couple of hours to a few days and/or machine/hand wash their products before using them.

  • Is STITCH shipping orders to buyers?

​Yes! STITCH is selling products exclusively online on the MOM website and is now shipping orders for $4.95 per order. Check out our PRODUCTS page to view the all products that we are selling or go directly to the MOM website to make your purchase!​

  • Where do I go to pick-up my order(s)?

If you live near or on campus at UC San Diego, you can come pick up your order(s) at the address below! Make sure you're wearing a face mask!

  • Can I return products that I purchased?

​No. For the safety of both buyers and sellers, we are not allowing products to be returned. If you are dissatisfied with your product(s), please email us with your concerns and we can ​replace your product(s) with a new one.​

  • As a member of STITCH, can I request for crochet materials to be shipped to me?

Yes! At the beginning of each quarter, STITCH members, who are unable to pick up materials on-campus, can request for supplies to be delivered to them​. Each person is limited to only ONE order. To be notified of when requests are open, sign up here! Supplies are limited, so complete your request ASAP when the time comes!
